People tend to mistake kindness for weakness. They do not want to team up with the weak. It's all high school BS over again with the popular kids and the outcasts. The cool kids fuel their popularity and leadership by publicly destroying the nice/weak kids thus setting an example of the way to behave. It's always easier being an asshole than actually trying to defend/help/be nice to someone. Nice people are full of passion witch can be a good thing when it comes to arts, love or sports and a terrifying one when hatred is involved... here's a hint to all the "cool kids" out there: appreciate us for our kindness, our generosity, our differences and for your own good, never, ever...give us a reason to hate you. :)
