it is proven again and again. No one has your back. Do it yourself. Strangers are kinder than blood. Blood watches you drown. My arms get tired from pulling my own bootstraps up over and over but, no one gives a shit, even if a baby is involved. And now, despite there being two people to make every child- this little girl is still left with just me. Just me. Thank God I was made resilient.
